Salty Houses is the result of the dream of a couple linked to the project and construction passionate about the Algarve that saw in the beautiful historic center of the city of Lagos, the ideal place to develop houses for rent with soul that synthesize and accommodate the architecture, design and decoration that lived in their travels.
"Canal House is a wonderful home in a prime location. The minimalist design is beautiful, yet the space is well equipped and has plenty of storage space. The roof pool is great for enjoying a drink after a day at the beach. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and bars a few blocks away. I really enjoyed staying here.”

The five boutique holiday houses are all different however it has in common something that always guarantees them a unique character obtained through a set of decisions throughout the creative process, choice of place in the city, development of architecture with a renowned atelier in Portugal and decoration characterized by the use of personal objects obtained over time.
Discovering Lagos
In Lagos everything seems to invite to the beach and the simple pleasures. But there is also a history of navigators and pirates, the result of complicity with the sea that persists in the colorful trawlers that bring the fish to the auction, or in the Marina where yachts from all over the world swing.
From the long Avenida dos Descobrimentos we appreciate the profile of the city and the Marina full of life and animation. This route leads us to the sea and to the beaches, which are one of the most beautiful in the Algarve, so often distinguished by international entities and magazines.
Costa Vicentina, the stretch of coast between the fishing village of Burgau (a few kilometres from Lagos) and Odeceixe is a different Algarve, where unspoilt nature has a strong and wild character, which translates into landscapes of breathtaking grandeur.
The Algarve mountains represent the border with the Alentejo and already bring very different landscapes and experiences that are still a genuine and honest Algarve. We don’t need to climb up too much to find views that the common summer is never lurking.
Portugal is a world-renowned golf destination and its reputation as an excellent spot for your golf holiday is much deserved!
